Dr. Virginia Crawford’s love for animals began at an early age, growing up surrounded by a menagerie of dogs, cats, and chickens. Becoming a veterinarian has been her lifelong dream, and she feels incredibly fortunate to have turned that dream into a career dedicated to caring for animals and the people who love them.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Tyler before receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University. Dr. Crawford has a special interest in soft tissue surgery and preventive medicine. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized care and believes that building trusting relationships with pets and their owners is one of the most rewarding parts of veterinary medicine.

When she’s not at the clinic, Dr. Crawford enjoys spending time outdoors, reading a good book, and making memories with friends and family. She especially loves spending time with her husband, Jacob, and their two beloved pets, Blitzen the cat and Chaney the golden retriever.
