Annual Wellness Exam

Pets age faster than people making regular wellness exams an extremely important part of your pet's health care routine. On average, most dogs and cats reach adulthood by age two. Because dogs and cats age quickly, significant health changes can occur in a short amount of time.

Through our preventative approach, we recommended that pets have a wellness exam annually so that our veterinary staff has the opportunity to detect and treat illnesses or prevent problems before they become life-threatening. This also allows us to tailor an appropriate immunization schedule according to your pet's lifestyle and your health concerns. As part of this annual check-up we recommend annual lab work. Significant health changes can occur before there are obvious symptoms. Performing routine lab work can catch these problems early and allow early treatment to help your pet live as long and as healthy a life as possible.
